The band Journey utilizes a Scarab beetle in many album covers. The beetle derives from Egyptian Mythology and represents rebirth, the sun, and creation. The wings within each album represent rebirth, this is abstracted through the six panels around the fixture. The space motif represents creation, this is conveyed through having the string fill the gaps between the panels. The string also represents the movement and the colors within each album cover.
