Hello everyone, my name is Angela Chusko! Throughout my childhood I found myself constantly creating; whether it be figures from construction paper, cardboard dog houses, or spending hours laying out houses on the game The Sims.
Prior to college, I spent all of my study halls and elective classes in the art studios at Gateway High School, designing and creating with every kind of medium the school had to offer. Aside from the art classes, I excelled in my two other favorite subjects, math and science.
Each course at La Roche has trained me to pay great attention to detail and molded me into the well-rounded professional I am today. With the skill sets I have developed, I feel confident that I will be successful in my career path as a designer, and am eager to grow with my new employer. I have expanded my knowledge in the field of design more than I could have ever imagined. Working on a wide range of project types in my schooling, as well as in my internship, has helped narrow down my interests, and what drives me and my creativity the most. I find that I am most inspired by the problem-solving aspect of a project, and the collaboration it takes with a team to execute a project. During my internship I was given the opportunity to become a part of a team, interacting with designers, representatives, and clients. I cannot wait to see what my future in the professional field of design has in store!
