The built environment has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. When I was 6 years old, my family built an addition onto our house. I spent that winter following the contractor around the site, learning how to frame walls, wire outlets, and install flooring. During my high school years, I immersed myself in numerous architecture and design classes. I visited a few architecture firms and quickly realized my passion for the detail and complexity of interior design. I love finding ways to creatively solve numerous problems in one design – from user experience and brand identity, to wellness and energy efficiency. My minor in Sustainable Interdisciplinary Studies helps me apply a holistic approach to my designs. My classmates will tell you I’m always eager to learn more and help others to do the same.
Non-Design Passions: Playing volleyball, Reading, Drawing, and Traveling.
Irrational Fear: Losing my passport in a foreign country, even if it’s in my hand.
