Ola Alsalman came to the United States in 2013 and attended Gateway High School. She then attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in Interior Design and transferred to La Roche University in 2019. She is expected to earn her Bachelor’s degree in August 2022. At both of those institutions, she learned the fundamental principles of interior design designing spaces that suit the needs of all members of society. Ola also became fond of lighting design, which plays an important role in highlighting different aspects of exceptional designs. One of the most important principles she learned during her studies is to always be aware of the latest trends, but to go her own way to create a unique design. Ola had various experiences such as job shadowing Susan Friday and playing a key role in designing a part of the Junior League Show House in Pittsburgh, PA.
