Inspiration: I try my best every day, no matter the results. I may progress slower than others, but everyone has their journeys. Growth will come over time as I keep pushing, and I’m content with that.
Art has always been a part of my life at many moments. It has allowed me to use self-expression throughout the work. I attended a performing arts after-school program in elementary, went through phases of sketching fashion and other objects. Eventually, I met sims 3, where interior design was introduced. Aside from the gameplay, I would spend hours trying to make my sims house beautiful and cohesive. I’m proud to say I still play the Sims to this day as I continue to improve my skills throughout college.
I’m interested in residential design due to the concept of a home. A home should be somewhere you can come back to and feel relaxed. It should express your personality, from the texture of materials to how open or closed the areas are. Unfortunately, only some are privileged enough to create those spaces, and I see great future opportunities. Especially as a homebody, I can understand the importance of your space feeling like your own.
