Hello everyone! My name is Bre Dague. I have alway been a creative rather than analytical minded individual, since childhood. I enjoyed subjects like fashion, traveling, dancing, music, and art. I loved anything that I could alter to fit my imagination.
In highschool, I was lucky to have the opportunity to explore many creative avenues like dark room photography, art club, calligraphy, and graphic design. I knew that art was my passion and I wanted to try as many forms as I could, but something was lacking. This would lead me to my first introduction of interior design through LaRoche’s meet and design program. The meet and design program made me fall in love with the school and the creative art of interior design. LaRoche has trained me to understand the importance of attention to detail and creative problem solving. With the skills and knowledge I gained from my time at LaRoche, I feel as if I will be set in my career path moving forward as a designer. My knowledge of the field of interior design has helped me to see how design impacts society in everyday life as well as its importance. I was able to apply my knowledge from Laroche to my professional experience as well, and seek a great internship and job within the field. Through the many LaRoche field trips, I would go on to meet many business professionals and learn about the many jobs and avenues associated with interior design.
For the future I have hopes of becoming a residential interior designer and possibly opening up my own business, but for now it’s wherever the wind takes me.
