Meet Design + Film at La Roche University

Attention all high school students (9th through 12th grades) interested in Film, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Photography!

Design can be impactful and Design can make a difference!

La Roche University invites you to submit a film, fine arts, graphic design, interior design or photography project to our annual MEET DESIGN event for prospective students.  Demonstrate how YOUR artwork, design or film can help support a social cause!

A $100 gift card for first, a $75 gift card for second and $50 gift card for third place will be awarded from all projects submitted.  Winners also get some cool La Roche swag and will be recognized in press releases and publications!

This experience includes learning more about the exciting Film, Graphic Design, and Interior Design programs at our nationally recognized university.

  • Thursday, March 18, 5 – 6 p.m.: Zoom Presentation and Project Description
    • Register by Tuesday, March 16.
    • A Zoom link will be provided with the registration confirmation.
    • Learn about the requirements and criteria to begin your project.
    • Learn about the academic programs La Roche offers.
    • Interact with La Roche faculty
  • Thursday, March 25, 5 p.m.: Faculty will review your projects and provide feedback.
  • Thursday, April 1, 5 p.m.: Current La Roche students will review your projects and provide feedback.
  • Thursday, April 8, 8 p.m.: All projects need to be submitted by this date.
  • Thursday, April 15, 5:30 – 6 p.m.: Project winners announced as part of La Roche Positive Space, our annual juried art and design show, at which outside professionals judge the student submissions and award prizes across multiple categories of art and design.
