I thought my days of obsessing over technology and spending countless hours working with a team for robotics competitions would end after high school…turns out I was wrong. I carried my love for creative problem solving in the industry of design through interiors and photography. You can find me endlessly scrolling through interiors on Pinterest looking for inspiration, huddled over InDesign messing with different layouts to improve my visual presentation skills, or exploring the places around me with my camera as my passport. The challenge of COVID became an unexpected opportunity to utilize for my senior capstone after seeing how much it has impacted everyone not just physically, but mentally as well. My project explores the future of the workplace environment now that in-person collaboration has become so important for our mental health and well-being.
Non-Design Passions: photography, nature, hiking, travel, any genre of music, and most importantly… goofing around with dogs!
Design-related pet peeve: When I find a material that I love online, only to find out when I see it in person how hideous it is…
Current Favorite Firm: Gensler, for their commitment to holistically improve the human experience that sparks positive change and creates a future that promotes equity, resilience, and wellbeing for everyone.
