Hello, my name is Moranda Romanishan! Ever since I was a child I was always drawn to the arts. In middle school, I applied for the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and was accepted for their Visual Art program. I loved art but I always wanted to do something that had more meaning, something that could have a bigger impact than just painting or drawing, yet still let me pursue a creative career. This led me to pursuing Interior Design. I fell in love with being able to take a conceptual idea and turn it into a practical design. Looking at inspiration of recent designs on instagram and magazines is what keeps me inspired everyday to continue in interior design.
Outside of art and design, I love to travel! During my time here at La Roche I studied abroad twice, once was to Argentina and Chile my sophomore year and my second experience was a semester abroad in Italy. I love being immersed into other cultures. Every weekend that I was in Italy I tried my best to find something new or some place new to visit. I even try to find new places in Pittsburgh to visit!
Non-Design Passions: Art, Painting, Drawing, Movies, Traveling and Exploring. Design Related Pet Peeve: The assumption that all interior designers do it paint walls and fluff pillows.
Known Among My Peers As: Always being productive, my friends and peers say that they always see me on the go.
