“There is no design without discipline. There is no discipline without intelligence.”

Film – Scott VanGrootenbruel
On my first day of community college, I picked up my phone and started filming random parts of my life. This would lead to me becoming a YouTuber and taking an interest in telling a story. I would never look back as I learned how to do so many different aspects of the video production process before coming to film school.
After finding success on YouTube for three years, I went back to school at La Roche University for film. While being in film school, it gave me time to narrow down to what specifically I wanted to do before graduating. During my time at La Roche, I gained experience through internships, working on a small film set, learning from professionals and making great connections.
My passion for film has been expanded in all aspects the past few years. I normally find myself living in front of editing software still experimenting and trying new editing techniques while working on projects. I love what I get to do in film and I am always hungry to learn new roles and other people’s stories.
